One of the neat things about my job is that part of what I'm challenged to do is to be curious and interested in EVERY aspect of the internet, not just my little corner of it.
I came across this project called We Feel Fine. Basically it's a couple of geeks who are interested in art and data who wanted to find a way to document how people are feeling on the web. They do this by capturing in a database when somone writes in their blog the words "I feel" or "I'm feeling" and then they created a cool artistic way to graphically represent all of this feeling and humanness.
The thing I find most cool about it is the montage feature. In addition to grabbing the sentence that contains "I feel", if there are any images on the post they put the sentence on top of the image. It creates some amazingly poignant and absurd snapshots of people throughout the world. I could get lost for hours in this...
